EXPECTATIONS

  • The manager is expected to apply solid principles of leadership, human relations and continuous quality improvement in the overall management, coordination, and refinement of inpatient pharmacy operations.
  • The Manager has a pivotal role in developing programs educating physicians and patients on drug therapy and will incorporate evidence based medicine in the development and dissemination of drug strategies that improve quality of care while controlling health care costs.
  • Maintains a high degree of excellence in clinical outcomes and patient care.
  • The Manager must be able to exercise sound management and judgment in making appropriate decisions for all policies regarding prior authorization requests for all Specialty Services provided at ONE HEALTH.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • PharmD or RPh with 4 years managed care benefit administration
  • Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited school of pharmacy, including didactic courses and experiential rotations in pharmaceutical care, and four years of supervisory or management work experience in a pharmacy
  • Or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience to include one of the following: compliance, business/system process redesign, project management, pharmacy benefit management or operations management.
  • If no degree, 7 years’ experience to include one of the following: compliance, business/system process redesign, project management, pharmacy benefit management or operations management.
  • One year of professional experience in the compounding, dispensing, and preservation of drugs and medicines equivalent to a Pharmacist, including prior or concurrent successful completion of the required pharmacy internship.
  • At least five (5) years of Pharmacy Management,
  • A minimum of five (5) years of pharmacy compounding experience.
  • At least 1 year project or program management experience required.
  • Proficient with standard PC skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint).
  • At least 3 years of experience managing people.
  • Advanced degree in health care administration or business preferred.
  • Experience in operations work environment preferred.
  • 2+ years of proven successful project management experience.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work and direct in cross-functional project teams.
  • Mathematical, analytical and statistical aptitude.
  • Excellent planning, interpersonal, problem solving, leadership and oral and written communication skills are required.

Laboratory Accessioning Associate (Part-Time and Full-Time)

OneHealth Labs DFW is a complete turnkey clinical, toxicology and genetics laboratory located in Irving Texas. To facilitate our growth, we are searching for highly motivated, skilled, and organized people to join our time. OneHealth is currently seeking an in-house accessioning associate to assist with various testing specimens as they are received at the laboratory.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Laboratory Accessioning Associate

JOB DUTIES

  • Data entry and accessioning / organization of patient demographics, insurance, and billing information.
  • Coordination with our 3rd party billing and collections company to reconcile patient accounts.
  • Maintain filing system for both open and finalized requisition orders
  • Corresponding with OneHealth accounts and providers to collect additional patient information as necessary.
  • Preparation and shipment of various medical supplies to OneHealth accounts and providers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read and understand EOBs/ERAs
  • Strong understanding of LCDs, CPT codes, and corresponding ICD10 codes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word and Excel
  • A strong customer service orientation and skills are essential for communicating with outside parties
  • A self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills requiring good data gathering and analysis skills using reports, spreadsheets, web-based applications, and other software tools
  • The ability to maintain the confidence of sensitive information is essential
  • Experience working in a medical, laboratory, or medical related field, a plus.
